David J. Preller, Jr.
David J. Preller, Jr. joined his father’s private practice of law in 1975 and he is the Senior Partner at Preller and Preller. David was born in 1948 and raised in Baltimore Metropolitan area. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1966 and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Saint Leo University in 1970. David received in J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and served with the National Guard from 1970 – 77. He is Member of Baltimore County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal courts of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and Washington D.C. David prides the practice of Preller and Preller as a family business and that he has had the pleasure of working with his father and son. David’s primary areas of practice include Buying and Selling of Businesses, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Personal Injury, and Family Law.

David J. Preller, III is a former Public Defender and the third generation of Partners with Preller and Preller. Born and raised in Baltimore, David was educated at The Boys’ Latin School before receiving his undergraduate degree from Saint Leo University in 1992. Before entering law school, David was a stockbroker and Bank Manager, giving him invaluable experience in the financial sector. David received his J. D. in 2000 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the Maryland Bar the same year. David is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal courts in Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. David’s practice focuses on Family Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury, and Workers Compensation.
Dilip B. Paliath
Dilip B. Paliath is the final Partner in the Firm. Dilip has a diverse legal background, which gives him expertise in various practice areas. Dilip was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Calvert Hall High School. He received his B.A. in Political Science in 1993, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. As a former civil litigator and prosecutor, Dilip knows his way around a courtroom, and what it takes to win at trial. Moreover, as a former lobbyist for Governor Ehrlich, Dilip can advise you on the legislative process and the best way to change public policy or enact legislation. Dilip’s practice focuses on Juvenile Matters, Litigation, Estates, and Business Transactions.
